In answer to the question: How much does a Kitchen Designer cost?
It depends on a few things: The industry standard is 10% of the overall cost of the job. When I price I try to look for ways to save the customer money by combining with a builder and my cabinet manufacturer thereby reducing redundant work. I work with the semi-custom system of factory made cabinets and with a team of competent Kitchen and Bath suppliers to reduce time. I do not exceed the agreed price of the job without express permission from the client.

5. Assistance in selection of Appliances 2 hr
6. Assistance in selection of cabinetry finishes, hardware 1 hr
7. Countertop Layout and specification quote Requires visit to supplier and assistance in the selection 1.5 hr
8. Specifications Book – specs of all the equipment, appliances maintenance and distribution. 3 hr
9. Cabinet Drawings and Details 5 hr.
